Beloved

is for women in all walks of life who seek the face of God–together.

At The Anchor, we believe that women are beloved of God, and that is the foundation of our women’s ministry and small group gatherings. Jesus gave us a new command to “love one another,” in the same way that he loves us (John 13.34). In these groups, we seek to lift one another up in prayer, discipleship, and above all, love, which fulfills the command of 1 Peter 4.8: “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers a multitude of sins.”

“God is within her, she will not fall;
 God will help her at break of day.”
Psalm 46.5

  • We seek to be a safe place to come just as you are to learn more about the character of God and our roles in the Kingdom.

  • We are discovering and exploring our spiritual gifts. We are praying with expectation that we will meet with the Holy Spirit. We are becoming doers of the Word.

  • We are united through JESUS.

  • We are sisters and friends.

  • We celebrate with each other!

  • We seek to be open, vulnerable and transparent with each other!

  • We strive for unity!

“What I love most about Anchor women’s events is the UNITY. There is so much love and acceptance and unity within the entire group. Everyone is welcome and loved so well. These women are beyond amazing.”

—Crystal Harris

“The incredible bond between the women at The Anchor is so beautiful and special. I’ve honestly never experienced anything quite like it before coming here! Events for the Anchor women’s group are THE BEST!!! This ain’t your normal ‘coffee and cookies’ kind of gathering. Hello trolly rides and floral arranging! They are thought-provoking, encouraging, and allow a safe space for vulnerability and deep personal connection between others and the Lord. Be ready to cry, laugh, and do a lot of hugging!”

—Alecia Hawl

“What I love most is the chance to meet new women whom I may not have the chance to interact with otherwise. At women’s events we have intentional activities that allow you to make new friends and create new memories together!”
